Hello, my name is julian kimmings. I'm a designer and web developer based in the North West. That's me over there.

I design and build websites that work for everyone using a variety of applications and techniques. I've been doing it for over ten years and I'm getting pretty good at it...

My skills are fairly extensive. I'm conversant in HTML, CSS, PHP, mySQL, JavaScript (among others) and most software made by those folk at Adobe, including Flash and Actionscript.

I have over ten years solid front-end web development under my belt, working in-house or as part or a larger team of designers and developers in agency environments. I'm also pretty handy with the backend stuff as well and have been known to spin some magic on LAMP projects and even .Net and C#, but mainly LAMP.

I'm not interested in smoke and mirrors and I believe in plain speaking, I don't fluff with buzz words and often translate between techies and designers, designers and 'normal people'. I focus on making websites that work, I don't just mean function properly, I mean websites that work for you, increase ROI and engage with your customers.

Because at the end of the day, giving your customers a pleasant experience and increasing your turn over is what it's all about.
